Our Location ................................................................................ We are located on the beautiful University of the Sunshine Coast campus, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia (www.usc.edu.au/).
Most of the Club’s coaches operate from this venue and all of the Club Meets and Carnivals are held at this track. Access to the track is through the Chancellor State College (Senior Campus), off Sippy Downs Drive, east of the University’s entrance (See map). Parking, bathroom facilities and change rooms are available at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Indoor Sports Stadium. The Canteen is open for Club Meets and Carnivals. A fee of $2.50 is charged for use of the track. Directions - by car From the north, via the Bruce Highway: 1. Travel south along Bruce Highway 2. Take Mooloolaba/Buderim/Noosa Heads exit to Sunshine Motorway 3. Travel along Sunshine Motorway for 1.2km 4. Take Buderim/Sippy Downs/University exit 5. At traffic lights turn right (follow the blue University sign) 6. Straight through first roundabout 7. Turn right at second roundabout into University entrance From the south, via the Bruce Highway: 1. Travel north along Bruce highway 2. Take Mooloolaba/Buderim/Noosa Heads exit to Sunshine Motorway 3. Travel along Sunshine Motorway for 1.2km 4. Take Buderim/Sippy Downs/University exit 5. At traffic lights turn right (follow the blue University sign) 6. Straight through first roundabout 7. Turn right at second roundabout into University entrance From Brisbane International/Domestic Airport: 1. Travel west along Airport Drive 2. Turn right at roundabout to enter Gateway Motorway 3. Travel north along Gateway Motorway for 18km (following signs to the Sunshine Coast) 4. At end of Gateway Motorway merge with traffic travelling north along Bruce Highway 5. Travel north along Bruce highway for 66km 6. Take Mooloolaba/Buderim/Noosa Heads exit to Sunshine Motorway 7. Travel along Sunshine Motorway for 1.2km 8. Take Buderim/Sippy Downs/University exit 9. At traffic lights turn right (follow the blue University sign) 10. Straight through first roundabout 11. Turn right at second roundabout into University entrance Directions - by bus Sunbus runs a regular bus service between a number of Sunshine Coast locations and campus. Information on Sunbus routes and timetables can be found on the Sunbus website (www.sunbus.com.au/tt_sunshinecoast.php). Directions - by train A Rail-Link service connects Queensland's rail system with the campus. To get to the campus, catch a train to Landsborough Station, walk to the Landsborough bus stop and catch the connecting bus to the University. For information on fares and timetables, check the Transinfo (www.transinfo.qld.gov.au) or Queensland Rail (www.citytrain.com.au) websites. On the Transinfo website (www.transinfo.qld.gov.au), use Sippy Downs Drive, Sippy Downs as the destination. For Queensland Rail, the destination is called Sunshine Coast Uni (B). The Airtrain (www.airtrain.com.au) service links passengers from Brisbane's Domestic and International Airports to Queensland Rail services. |
